White Sky (Breathe)

by The Pulse ft. Jacob Cortes

/

about

The first "Official" Music Video for The Pulse. Not a perfect creation, but definitely a beautiful first to help kick start promotion for their new album in Late November.

The video was made in Memory of Apollo the Cat, an ever-present 22-year-old feline who died on August 25th, 2012. He was around for Aimmity's entire life, so it's strange to think he's gone.

The song's charm lies in it's ambiguity and lack of clarity. Officially, the message is this: Stop trying to figure out your life, step back, and breathe; don't blame yourself or others for what you can't control, and don't look so hard for answers that you forget who you are and what you love. Enjoy the video!

lyrics

Yeah

Who I am is always harder
to recognize when I'm alone.
Giving in is always harder
knowing when you're needed strong.

So we live
and we hurt
and we try
we try to learn
we forget
who we are
when we're trying
to reckon on

but if I just Breathe
If I just Breathe
If I just Breathe
For the first time in a long time

Flying high is always harder
when your wings are melting down
Getting by takes so much longer
when people try to hound your sound

So we live
and we hurt
and we try
we try to learn
but we can't
let it go
when we're trapped
inside our souls

but if I just Breathe
If I just Breathe
If I just Breathe
For the first time in a long time...

When you let it go
but if I just
Breathe
If I just breathe
If I just breathe
For the first time in a long time

Breathe
If I just breathe
If I just breathe
For the first time in a long time
